Overview:
To be responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, ensuring that approved suppliers and vendors are cost-efficient and of high quality, and coordinating that all departments and functions follow the internal and external regulations set by the board of directors.

Requirements:
§ Minimum 4 years’ experience as Contracting Manager within the Travel and Tourism Industry (preferable Inbound Tour Operator and Destination Management sectors).
§ High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with strong negotiation skills.
§ Financial awareness including business acumen and profit awareness.
§ Ability to be creative, strategic, analytical, and think outside the box to solve problems.
§ High level understanding of operational and logistical tactics.
§ Presentation and public speaking skills.
§ Decisiveness, tough-mindedness, and assertiveness.
§ Excellent knowledge of project management and information analysis.
§ Good command of written and spoken English.
§ High levels of verbal and written Communication skills.

Responsibilities: § Responsible for developing and analyzing the best supplier relationships in the industry. § Act as the critical point of contact for new suppliers and contracting suppliers. § Procure and analyze travel suppliers in critical destinations that fits the company’s strategic goals and ensure quality deliveries. § Mapping and prioritizing the company’s preferred travel partners and developing various travel suppliers align with crucial product development focus. § Negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers, including annual contract renewals, special offers, group series and other business terms. § Update information about price, promotions, and conditions from suppliers. § Advise the company and travel team to constantly maximize revenue and margin opportunities. § Help source support for industry and staff fam trips rate or schedules. § Develop and implement a straightforward procedure for filing and SRM system management and updating. § Manage and maintain the Standard Operational Procedures for the contracting and system functions. |
