Requirements:
§ Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
§ Proven experience in travel procurement, supplier management, or a related role within the travel industry.
§ Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
§ In-depth travel industry knowledge, including travel activities, tours, and attractions.
§ Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, trends, and market dynamics.
§ Familiarity with travel technology platforms, procurement tools, and systems.
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
§ Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities: § Travel Activities Sourcing: Identity, evaluate, and select travel activity suppliers, including tours, excursions, attractions, and other travel-related services. Build a robust network of preferred suppliers based on quality, reliability, and competitive pricing. § Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements with travel activity suppliers. Secure advantageous contracts that align with the company's travel needs, budget, and quality standards. § Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with travel activity suppliers as the main point of contact for ongoing communication, issue resolution, and performance management. Conduct regular supplier reviews to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and service excellence. § Cost Management: Optimize travel activity costs while maintaining high service standards. Implement cost-saving strategies, such as volume discounts, bundling activities, and optimizing supplier contracts. Monitor and analyze travel activity expenses to identify cost reduction and efficiency improvement areas. § Quality Assurance: Ensure that travel activities meet or exceed the company's quality standards and customer expectations. Conduct periodic audits and inspections to assess supplier compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. § Travel Policy Compliance: Collaborate with the travel team to develop and enforce travel policies and procedures related to travel activities procurement. Provide guidance and training to employees on policy compliance and preferred suppliers. § Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, new travel activities, and emerging destinations. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities, innovative services, and potential cost savings. § Travel Technology and Systems: Utilize travel technology platforms and systems to streamline procurement processes, track supplier performance, and generate reports. Stay informed about industry-leading procurement tools and recommend system enhancements or new technologies as needed. |
